FAQ

Frequently Asked

Here, you’ll find answers to some of the most common questions about Com-Mission and how we can help you grow your business.

What is a “Promotion Cycle”?

A “Promotion Cycle” is an automatic 28-day period that begins as soon as you, the business, create and activate a promotion. This cycle ensures that your promotion runs smoothly and reaches your target audience effectively. For businesses on the Pro account, there is flexibility to choose different cycle durations: 28 days, 90 days, 180 days, or 360 days per promotion, depending on your marketing strategy and goals.

What are the different Sale Types?

The different Sale Types refer to the various methods you, as the business, can choose for promoters to sell your product.

Here are the Sale Types available:

  1. Any & All: This allows the promoter to use any and all available methods to sell your product.
  2. Social Media & Influencer Marketing: Focuses on leveraging social media platforms and influencers to promote your product.
  3. In-Person Sales: Promoters sell your product through face-to-face interactions, such as events, trade shows, or direct sales.
  4. Network Marketing & Other Cold Calling: Involves network marketing strategies and reaching out to potential customers through cold calling.
  5. Retargeting Your Database & Leads: Utilizes retargeting techniques to engage with your existing database and leads to drive sales.
  6. Email, Blog & Copywriting Marketing: Promoters use email campaigns, blog posts, and compelling copywriting to market your product.
  7. Affiliate Marketing (3rd Party websites, links, platforms, etc.): Involves third-party websites, links, and platforms to promote and sell your product through affiliate marketing channels.

Your account is completely free to create and use forever.

We do not offer any pro versions, but we do have different promotion levels based on how well you sell.

Platform Cut

Com-Mission takes a standard, unchanging 10% commission. This commission is based on the percentage that the business sets for each promotion.

Here’s a simple breakdown:

  • Suppose a product costs R100.
  • The business sets the commission rate at 20%, which means you earn R20 per sale.
  • Com-Mission takes 10% of that 20% commission, which is R2.
  • As a result, you take home R18 per sale. A whole 90% of the commission is yours.

This structure is completely transparent and ensures that you always know exactly what you’ll earn from each sale.

Online Courses

Additional costs may include choosing from our range of sales courses. We offer free resources and free courses, but if you want to verify yourself as a “Qualified Promoter” and increase your chances of being selected for high-commission promotions, consider one of our paid courses.

These courses can enhance your CV and make you more attractive to businesses looking for top promoters.

Our courses are designed to fit various time commitments and budgets, ensuring that there’s something for everyone.
